Alright well since then I had a buddy paint me a brand new fender, and another friend helped me straighten the apron out some. I've since been driving around for the past two weeks. I'd still like to replace the apron, and the bumper needs to be re-sprayed. I gave it a good washing today and took a few pictures.
This is going on along with my Off-Road Pipe here soon. It's a 28" long x 4" Diameter Magnaflow Resonator.
I finished off the summer daily driving the car... then this happened.
My mom backed into my car in the driveway. Again.
So I put it up for the winter about a month ago. Plans for the winter are to get the rear bumper fixed, and respray the front and rear bumpers and my driver's side fender (which is seriously mismatched), replace rear wheel bearings and drums, new ceramic front brake pads, fix my headliner which is sagging, and possibly do a staggered setup.
I also purchased a MOMO Monte Carlo 320mm steering wheel and installed it tonight. I'll wait until it's on the heated side of our shop before I spend more time wiring up the horn.
The last picture was taken on the way to Carlisle, PA for the Ford Nats last month.
All winter projects were wrapped up a couple months back. It has freshly painted bumpers as well as the addition of SVT side skirts. Also has four wheel SVT disc brakes now.
I just came home from Euro Hangar this past weekend, which kind of lit a fire under my ass to do some improvements. I got a hold of ESM, and since they don't make my wheels in 17x9 in anything other than a +25 offset, I talked to Ary there and they will be re-sleeving a set of 17x9 4x114.3 +40 wheels to 4x108 so I can run those in the rear. 3" lips on those versus the 1.5" lips on my 8s. In less exciting news, I'm working on polishing this up so I can weld it on my exhaust. I've always wanted a turn down style exhaust tip.
