  • Another New Guy...

    Hey guys...I've been lurking for a while, figured I'd finally man up an say hi. Name's Doug, I run a small custom outfit up in the NW, http://www.streetissuecustoms.com. Been doing chassis fab, air suspension...all the fun stuff...for over a decade up here. Here are a few shots of my current builds....stuff I should probably finish this year..lol. You may have seen one or 2 of them floating around the interwebz...












    Those are the fun ones....

                            The bus is pretty straight forward..mostly It was a bit of a challenge since it's a unibody. The rear was notched to accomodate a 30" tall tire. We opted to go with a parallel 4-link and panhard bar with bags over the axle out back for simplicity's sake, and to keep the load rating...she's a heavy one.

                            Up front, the front crossmember was sectioned 3", and uppper and lower control arms were shortened 1", along with some Belltech 3" drop spindles. Air managment is a pair of Viair 480's, 10 gallon tank and a full AccuAir setup.
