Greetings to everyone from snowy Estonia!
Thought I'd tell you about my little car.
It's a1983 BMW 520i, It's black, with beige Recaro sports interior. Has a sunroof, electrical mirrors and that's about it!
Why do I have this car, a little story about it.
My old VW Golf II wasn't the car I wanted to build up, so I started to look for BMW's, at first I wanted an E36, but they are to common in Estonia, a bit too boring. Rusty was a big inspiration for me, and when I saw my friends E28(low as HELL!!!), then it clicked...I want an E28!
So started searching for them, took a day for to look for the one I have, when I saw, immediatly called the owner, went to see it, made the prepayment and a week later brought it home. Why did I chose that one? Mostly because it was black, had a sunroof and the beige Recaro interior, though one of the front seats isn't in a very good condition, but that doesn't bother me, everything is repairable. The last owner told me that it had made a couple of roadkills, so the front isn't very straight. The front upper apron needs to be changed.
Now some pictures form the moment i got, until now, with some little text with the pictures!
When I brought it home.

BBS Style 5's was a must!

A little bit of work with the wheels!

Got em lookin like this!

A bit of straightening for the lower apron, got it lookin a bit better.

On one beautiful summers eve, an idiot with his Mercedes thought it would be cool to crash into me!

Tiny little grasshopper

With the money I got from the insurance I brought home another 520'i for spare parts.
Got a new rear bumper, new side panels, new hood etc and swaped the engine, but I'll get to that later.

Swaped the grill, lights, and the lower apron.

A little photoshoot with my buddies.

Why did I make the engine swap? Broke the oilpan somewhere, and when I noticed that the oil level is too low, unfortunately it was too late, the old engine wasn't working properly too. But hey, atleast, the old engine went with a big bang!

After the swap, I had to roll around without the apron, because my friend broke it!

This how I cruised around, with the summer set.

From left to right:
524td, my 520i and 540i 6speed.

Somewhere in the beginning of the summer a couple of guys started a low/stance movement in Estonia to promote this kind of stuff, called LowLifer, u can find info:
http://http://www.lowlifer.ee
We've had 3 meetings until now, at this moment, we are on a winter brake

Before the winter started, I was sure, that my car would go to a garage for the winter, for bodyworks, new paint and a new engine. Considering the fact how our last 3 winters looked like, I'm not gonna be able to drive my car. Through november and december there was no snow, and my car slept in the garage, because the clutch input cylinder was broken.
At the end of december, with no snow in Estonia I decided to change the cylinder and drive the car. Unfortunately on the 1'st of december, the snow finally came. But what the hell, still gonna drive it
In the next few days, I'm gonna get my car running again

Those will be my winter wheels 14x7 somekind of MSW's!

And my winter ride height!

Few days ago, got a sweet deal for BBS RS's, had to bring them home.

17x8.5" ET 30 5x112. Hopefully I'm able to change the center's with my friend, he has the centers for BMW, when he gets his Audi S4, and maybe gonna buy his E28, my E28 is for sale. If his not able to get the S4, I'm gonna have to keep my car, and start to repair it, bit by bit. Next week I'm gonna get a new engine, M30B35. Somewhere in the near future make the swap, and get the bodywork done, with the new paint.
I think that's about it for now, if I'm gonna get my car running, I'll make some winter pictures.
Hope to hear feedback from you!
