Sorry about no updates about the car. Well, the army is officially over now, for 3 months already, god how quick the time is passing by.
After gettin out, the main purpose was to get the car running normally again.
So what I did, is change the distributor and the distributor cap, also changed the sparkplug's. It made it a bit better, so I could drive the car again. Almost forgot, changed the oil, filter and the generator, cuz it wasn't working properly.
Could only drive it for a couple of days, cuz the fuelpump finally gave up. So it had to be towed 25 km. Got a new pump from my friend, changed it, along with the new pump, and no problems since then.
Some pictures to go along with the talk.
So I'm running a tire set of 205/45@8.5" and 215/40@10"
205/45 is a bit too much, gonna change them to 195/40 as soon as I get the coilovers installed. Coilovers are originally for E39, but have to get them customized to fit. TA-Technix are the coilovers.
Remember how the hood was all colorful, tho it is painted from a spraycan, still looks better than before, haven't had the time....actually paintshops don't have time to deal with my hood.
That was the evening, when the fuelpump stopped working. With his older brother.
This one is taken in Helsinki, actually most of the time, the car is in Finland, because of my work.
This happened!
Old one was replaced with a Simons exhaust, makes a great sound.
And got new license plates for the car, as u can see from the last picture, the old ones where quite ugly.
Sorry about them shitty instagram pics, cuz I've been too lazy to take my camera with me, actually planning to buy a better one, hopefully soon.
As the winter is coming, I'm hoping to get a garage for the car, so I can get my plans done for next season.
Have to get the car to bodyworks and hopefully get it repainted.
Also planning to but a M30B35 with a turbo. Let's hope the plans come together.
Finally got the rear coilovers ready and mounted. My friend fabricate'd them, since it was the first time for him to make coilovers for the E28 from E39 coilovers, the rear ones need to be shortened a little bit.Replaced the original coilover shocks with a bit shorter Sachs Super Touring's. Hoping to get a winter car soon, then I can start preparing the car for the next season.
