Thought i'd start off a progress thread as just joined the stance style!
Its superb to see the motors on here and has given me a lot of inspiration.
Car is far from finished, but here's her story.
I started off purchasing the MCS in 2008 off my brother. First mod on the agenda was to change the front grills, wasn't a big fan of the chrome 'common' front

I then found some carbon and thought i'd get involved! Carbon scoop intake

At this stage I wanted to go for the 'street' look, so darkened out the front end with headlight rings and a bit of 's' replacement

During this, I had the car sent to 1320 (mini tuning garage) with a reduced pulley for the supercharger. This took the car up to 200bhp - which was a fantastic difference on the road!
Next up I was insearch for some nice wheels to change the appearance to more of a track slag look and go with the power the car has achieved.
Some R90 Reps came up for a great price, so I snapped them up, gave them a refurb with a gloss black finish wrapped in Falken 912's

Here was a sketchy shot with how the car looks as a whole.

After a few months, I really lost the look and found it absolutely hideous. It just wasn't my style of car and had to change it! With low funds because of performance parts, which consisted of Dave.f CAI, GRS Intercooler & JCW exhaust system - The car dyno'd at 230bhp. Which made me
A snap of the tip on the JCW. At first I wasn't a fan, but it grew on me as more of a euro look I was eventually after

I sold the wheels and carried around a set of standard wheels until I found a nice (unique) set of wheels I'd be happy with until funds became more. As well as getting rid of the black headlight rights & tinted rear lights.
During my search I knew I needed coilovers. The car looked as if it was on stilks, and I couldn't bare this, as well the roll on cornering. So a great upgrade (whilst the car was in for a gearbox with LSD switch was made, some new Wishbone bushes) which made the car crazily well around corners, even with the standard suspension!
I purchased a set of AP coilovers from a 'Venom Motorsport' which had great reviews, and knew could go pretty dam low! Which was exactly what I was after.
Then came across a lovely set of wheels from an E30 which had the same fitment, and were pretty unique. I hadn't come across a mini with them yet, so wanting to be unique, yet still hit off the 'euro' style, with style I purchased these Enzo Cup's in white/black - They came up at a great price and I had to take them.
So this is how my mini currently stands. Some pics from the past weeks.

More plans in the making for a cleaner look with some wider wheels! =]
Look forward to joining in some meets and meeting you guys! As well as listening to advice / opinions.
