just checked out that guys build thread on the r3v forums... I see what he did and might take a few ideas away from it. That being said, I like you idea of the tubular controls arms/frame... I really have to start drawing things up!

just my 2c, make sure you check at which point the tyre/wheel is hitting the strut in the back, as you don't want to roll low and wreck your strut. it happened to me when mine was barely even very low. show us a video of it airing up/down too please!

its not hitting the strut during any point of the wheel travel. we will be checking again though just to make sure of that in the next few days

          Great work man!

I have not done it with the same philosophy, on mine,I have set my rear suspensions to eat only an inch of the rim when aired out because I like rake on the E21. I think this car deserves to have the front slightly lower than the rear but for that, we need to work hard on finding a suitable solution for the control arms -> Big headaches to come

Do you plan to weld something on your rear subframe to correct the incredible amount of rear camber E21 gains when they are pretty low ?
I plan to do this on mine. I have put some camber plates in the front adjusted to give 2° of negative camber and I would like to do the mod on the rear subframe to be able to have the same amount of camber in the rear to be more aesthetic

For now I'm not too worried about the camber. First things first is really notching the front of the frame. I will fill this thread with many pictures once I start that project.

For now I am using adapters. If I decide to keep these wheels like I might then I will contemplate a 5 lug conv... If not my brother will be building a possible set of RS's or custom wheels from his line of wheels that he will soon be producing. Time will tell lol
