Impressive, I'd have a hard time letting the SRT-8 go though.

My current direction had me wanting something more refined, and the 2nd gen LX's definitely helped make the change much easier. The SRT was fun, but it was definitely time for something new.

Got the stock suspension broken down and ready for the bags to go in. I'll be swapping out the factory struts as soon as something adjustable becomes available.

One of the rear shocks broken down to remove the bumpstop:

                    Removed and back together:

Here are the fronts broken down and ready for the bags to be installed:

I received everything but the e-Level brain/controller today:

                    Prepping the front bags/struts:

                    Bottom bracket installed:

                    Top bracket installed:

                    Assembled:

                    Installed:

Rear's getting prepped. I ran out of daylight by the time I got the brackets on and the bags installed. I'll take some pics tomorrow:

Here's one of the bulkheads. I was just test fitting at this point. I'll have finished pics tomorrow:

Getting the false floor mocked up:

                    Drilled for fittings:

Carpeted and plumbed, just waiting on the brain:

I still need to make a board to put the tank on, carpet the spare tire well, do a final torque check on all of the suspension components, and then I'll be 100% ready to plug in and wire the brain. That'll be here Monday. More pics coming tomorrow!

                      • I got the lines for all four bags plumbed to the bulkheads today. Although, most of my time was spent working on the trunk. I was able to get the spare tire well carpeted, plumbed all of the lines to the VU4/tank, and got the feet for the tank cut and carpeted. I'm going to get the power wire and fuse setup tomorrow so I can get the relay and compressors hooked up. I'll also prep the ignition and headlight wires for the brain. From there, all I'll need to do is basically plug in the brain and run the controller to the front of the car. Getting close!

Bulkheads completed and hoses plugged in from each corner:

Pretty close to the final trunk layout:

                        • No more jack stands! I still need to get it on the alignment machine to get things dialed in, but I'm already 90% the way there. Full photo shoot coming soon!

                            • I still have some fender massaging to do in the front (specifically the driver's side), along with getting it on the alignment machine to help get the front tucked. It's fractions of an inch away from allowing the fender to slide by the tire. I'll be doing that sometime in the next few weeks, but I'm honestly sick of working on the car, and just want to drive it for a few days. I'll post up some new pics at that point, but here are a few for now:

                                Getting packed up:

                                New set coming soon!
