Hey guys - Sorry for the delay I have been incredibly busy with work / moving and FMU and I have sorted out the build plan and put everything on paper...They are ready to dive head first into the project and all I can really say is that many things from the original plan have now been deviated...but for the better and what FMU has manipulated my original plans into are much more extreme / badass than I could have thought up...Airlift race jacks, side exit exhaust behind front wheel, hydraulic ebrake.....check. Updates coming up briefly.

Mike get off the internet and go motivate the boys

I apologize for stalling my response to everyone following my build...I can finally report with good news so feel like its time for an update.
To make a long story short there was miscommunication involving the date of the kickoff which is what has stalled me from updating everyone. Over the last 90 days I have built up a balance large enough to buy a second E46 M3 in order to cover materials / labor / parts and the build is officially set to begin on June 25th and possibly before. The reason for building a balance is that once the project is started, the car will use a lift until it is complete - so while this was a slight delay it works out in the end...I previously stated that the build would take a long time however once started it should move rather quickly. The order you can expect to see the progress coming in is 1. Bodywork / shaved engine / shaved interior pan 2. Side exhaust 3. Cage 4. 1-of-1 CF DTM Wing 5. Custom Manifold.
The details of this build have changed a bit from the original plan...but only much more and much better...I will go back and edit my original post asap but will lay out a quick description of what is to come below. My original plan was new wheels/new paint/seats/trunk and done...which then turned into semi race car built for show...which has now turned into 100% race ready with the details and work performed for show quality. Posting without updates to show is never fun so I will be sure I constantly update this month, and throughout until the build is complete...There will be no more delays like the last. Once complete I look forward to shows & events so hopefully can get the car your way soon :
> The flossman GTR kit is being installed with addition to the front fenders being shaved / widened as well as the rear 1/4 panels being widened E30 M style for a few more inches on each side, as seen below from BMWDemons M3 :
> The Asuka boot doesn't flow as well as I would have hoped so I have decided to go with a CSL boot which will be a quick release install as the DTM wing will insert through the boot and tie into the frame
> Self contained air lift race jacks...I am possibly more excited about this mod than anything else

My "swan neck" wing is being custom made one off by Brooks Motorsports - Here is some progress on the wing...While the car is being built to race spec, you can plan on it still having the SW style/flavor that we all love so much...best of both worlds :
