Ok so picked up the coils from Jake. They are for a honda coil over kit but the springs should work. Just worried about how they'll sit. I think the 122 and the 140 have the same front spring perches so they should work. Front will be lowered dramatically.
Picking up the rims either the weekend after or the one after that.
Here are pics of them
The rear springs will be cut 240 springs with 240 perches.
For tires I'm thinking 215/40/16 all around. The wheels are 16x8 so I figured that would be enough stretch and still have it handle like a beast.Volvo. For. Life.

Depending on the tire brand, you may get a slight bit of stretch, but a majority of 205 offerings will be almost perfectly square on an 8". You'll want to look for 195s to even marginally stretch on an 8", or look for wider wheels if you're bent on a 215-width tire.
You don't see many 100-series cars anymore, I'm going to keep my eye on this build, looks promising. Good to see another Volvo owner on the 'Works.- Bagged '98 Chevy S10 - Stock '88 Volvo 240DL - Broken '87 Mitsubishi Starion ESi-R - Also Broken '87 Shelby Lancer #707/800 -

Falken 512's will stretch nicely over ann 8'' wheel in 205 size
The wheels on my vert (sig) are 16x9.5 all around, and have 215/40/16's
Car is looking great! Suddenly falling in love with old Volvos all over again

A 215 on a 8" wide wheel won't be hardly stretched at all. I have a 205 on an 8" wheel right now, and that's barely stretched.BB6 Prelude . . E36 ///M3 . . VA WRX Limited . . 1969 Nova
