Yea, I don't understand it. Not even just the fact that we aren't all made of money. Cheaper wheels aren't all just going to fall apart haha. Some might bend easily or the finish might fall off but thats our problem and if that happens then we can fix it.

but seriously, it has been preached THOUSANDS of times that you don't have to shit gold bricks to have really classy wheels. Wheels are just like any other high end product you can buy, the top of the line models are very expensive, can't afford that and you can get the cheaper basic models, or you could get an older top of the line model, used for the same price. Now, granted you will have to refinish these, thats still no excuse because even if you don't have the money, there is literally like 50 different diy write-ups on this site about exactly how to do just that.

Still don't beleive me? some of the most respected members on this forum, got their wheels for less than 1k. Do you know how they did it? being patient, waiting, searching different classifieds constantly, until the perfect deal came up.

people like you will probably just ignore this whole rant like you always do, but maybe you will understand that thats why people have no respect for fakes on this site

No man, I understand that I can save up for more expensive wheels but I have no reason to. I like these xxr's and i'm not going to not use them because some people on the internet don't like them lol. I understand that I could search for more expensive rims and probably find them sooner or later for less than 1k or close to that. But once again I like these xxr's so I don't need to do that.

true, xxr's probably aren't going to fall apart like rotas, but everyone on this forum will still give you an ear-full for it. On stanceworks wheels and suspension are like the holy grails of modding, skimp out on them and you will generally catch a lot of flack for it.

anyway, like i said, if you get those to fit in the front i could care less

Thanks I highly doubt I'll get 10.5 to fit in front but i'm going to wait to buy the last two wheels to see. I've seen some 10's on the front of a E46 sedan so we'll see

It's funny how you guys are saying that you're feeling rejected on other forums because your cars are modded different than the norm. Still, you're doing the same thing to this guy here. Suddenly, if he's not rocking a set of "real" wheels he's not accepted. If he wants to rock XXR's then let him rock them. What do you care? Is not your car... Continuously bringing shit about his wheels or coils will not make him go out tomorrow and buy a fresh set of Mito's, Futura's, Roti's or any other "real" wheels and a set of BC's or KW's. Let him do his thing and who knows, maybe his fitment on XXR's will be better then your fitment on "real" wheels.

Authenticity is the point. But youve made clear that you dont give a fuck about quality. And quality work is something everybody appreciates on here - even when the final product is not their taste.

The only way i'm comparing my car to a race car is by saying that my car is not a race car and i'm not trying to make it into one.

Like I have said many times in this thread, my car is a 170hp 323i. I'm not looking to do any performance mods to it because it only has 170hp to start with.

Light weight wheels are a performance mod. I'm not worried about getting light weight authentic wheels for my car.

Looks of a wheel are all up to a persons preference. You can't say an authentic wheels looks the best because it is authentic.

Now if you would please stop posting in my thread it would be much appreciated
