Since I now have a replacement in form of my touring, I've been getting ready to sell the sedan.

Today I finally finished swapping over all the parts I needed to my Touring and putting the sedan back together in stock form. After that I took the pics for the for sale-ad.

Will be sad to see it go, but on the other hand, I've got the Touring to look forward to - that will be 2x as awesome as the sedan ever could be.

Heh, that's actually not the first time that's happened, LOL.
Look on page 1, there's the original picture posted, they just cropped it and removed the licence plate.

There must be something about my car that attracts these guys... I've found pics of it in several german ebay auctions as well, didn't know they were even using the pics internationally. LOL


Just some words about the current state of the car:

-Paint is getting worse and worse, found a spot today, about 1x3cm big where there's no paint at all anymore, seems I or someone else dropped something on there when putting something in the trunk. Going to do a bit of touchup tomorrow, gonna be ugly, but at least I'll stop it from rusting.
Hope I have enough funds next spring to get some parts repainted. Having some vague ideas about doing a budget DIY paintjob if I don't have enough funds to get it repainted, but nothing sure, don't think I'll go through with this.
-I really need to find the time to redo my drivers seat, the bolsters (is that the correct term? I mean the "foam under the leather") have gone pretty weak and the leather is dirty as hell - too broke atm to afford new bolsters and good leather care products
-Still haven't gotten around to doing work on my new wheels, going to get the tires off once I have the time.

Heh, it's used equipment and I did the install myself.
Got the woofer for free from a neighbour and the amp for just ten bucks from a friend. Only the cables were new and cost me about 20 euros, lol.

Picked them up.

Minor curbage on the 9s, 8s are clean.
Apart from that they are a bit scratched in the dished and very, very dirty, but I'll see about getting them to look fine again.



And 2 of the tires are good enough so I can sell them.

Heh, yeah but the rubber is way too huge for me, i believe it's 255s or something. Can't fit that, LOL.
Also the tires are nearly bald apparently.

Still even for just the wheels alone that was a great price.

Can't wait, picking them up this sunday!
