1999 Ford SVT Contour 0604

So here it is, the build thread on my car. It's a 99 SVT Contour. It will be a slow process because working a not so baller paying job and college really takes away the time and money I'd like to put into the car. Anyways, like I said, it will be a slow build and I may not update this very often except to post new pictures. On with some details and pictures.

Drivetrain:
2005 full 3 liter Taurus/Sable motor swap
Untuned at 192 whp and 194 wtq
EGR delete
GCK Axles

Suspension/brakes/wheels:
KSport coilovers
Subframe connectors
BAT rear strut tower bar
BAT 21 mm rear sway bar
OMP front strut tower bar
Custom rear adjustable tubular toe arms
17x7 et 40 Konig Imagines

Exhuast/Intake:
Open element short ghey-ram intake
Gutted manifolds
Sho Shop y pipe with catalytic converter delete
Removed resonator into stock catback

Plans for the future:

- 20mm spacers all around to flush these rims out
- Camber arms for the back
- Run at least a 17x8 rim. (9J if I can find the right offset)
- Build another hybrid high compression NA motor to swap in
- Misc plans such as bigger brakes, redo interior, and other things

The original splitter was made by Mirko, the Mirko splitter. The mold was purchased and was revised by Extreme Dimensions. The graffiti style was done by me.

By the way, mitchuation, your SVTF is sick. I swore I saw you one night, but I don't even think you live near me lol Same color, comp orange, and had a roof rack, and what I thought was the EAP wheels. BUT, that was like last week, and that's nearly impossible to be lol

Normally , I strongly dislike these cars. Yours is definitely an exception. Lip would be gorgeous in body color. Great job, though!

LOL Lots of people **** the cars, until they ride in it. I have been contemplating on doing the lip body color. Keep it classy looking. But at the same time, I really like the graffiti. It does need repair as a small less than half dime size chunk in the corner, so that may be a reason for me to redo the whole thing.
