Custom Coils may be the way to go at this point. At the moment its either wheels or coils till we get further through the winter/spring. Money is kind of an issue as well so were throwing around ideas on what she wants to do. All im really here for is to basically keep this build rolling and do all the work to it. All the ideas and things that will happen to it are on her and not me lol

      Do wheels 1st.
how much of its suspension parts does it share with other Honda's, maybe some kinda frankestein coilover would be possible, for cheaper?
      I haz 4 wimz. need 4 more.

Doesn't the crv share similar suspension parts? I know this is true to the 9093 accords and the early crv's

Reading on more and more with the coils SOME company's have there coils manufactured so they can work on either the Honda Fits or the CR-V so that may be the root to go but only SOME company have theres built to work like that not all.

IMO. I would go the fit route(shorter coilover) and upgrade the sping to suit the CR-V

Call up BC see if they can get you the CRV coilover, I know they sell them overseas.

D2 Make's a very nice Coil Kit for the CR-V. Its a little Pricey but will that the right adjustment to drop this thing on the ground. Might be some time till we get there due to money and bills BUT will be on the ground at some point.

                    UPDATE: Fail.

During the weeks snowy weather we got her in PA the "Tank" aKa CR-V got clipped in the front by some dude not pating attention and slid through the red light due to icy roads.

                    Bumper Support completely broke...

                    Untitled by way2fastx3, on Flickr

From looking at it exterior wise, the whole front on the driver side is going to be replaced. The fender/door/hood ect were bend and don't line up at all. Exterior is gonna be a good $2000 to get fixed says the dealership. Driving it around after it happened i believe there's more damage done to the suspension but wont know anything more till a couple more days. Insurance covered it so it wont take any money away for Coils/wheels ect.

The GF has a crazy college schedule along with a new job so there hasn't been any time to do any work to the car or order parts. Money situation isn't the best either due to heavy bills.

                    New Plans:
                    1) Get the Tank fixed and running again
                    2) Pick a FINAL Wheel and get them ordered.
                    3) Paint and put new badge less grille on
                    4) Get Coils
                    5) N/A. Haha...

3 pages and still no modifications.

                        This is going nowhere, fast.

The problem with that may be that the fit shocks have much less damping so simply throwing on a stiffer spring will make the CRV ride like poop aka bouncy and rough. Make sure you buy something with proper dampers then you can always order springs aftermarket with the same spring rate that are just shorter if you need to get more drop out of it.

                          Good luck with the build.
