I've always wanted one of those, but never found one in decent condition. Looking forward to this

Got the car up to the shop yesterday and worked on it for a few hours.
Theres quite a bit of rust on the floor panel and front panel, but other then that its pretty good.

    Heres a few pics.

    Yeah I know - hehe.

The car is going to look awesome when Im done.
New brakes, springs, dampers, wheelarches, new paint, wheels and so on.

Going for polyurethan brushings to make it stiff as hell.

And maybe a VR6 engine because the 0.9 litre engine sucks :p

1977 VW Polo Mk1 (Derby) project

    Hey guys!

Just letting you know about my new project, a 1977 VW Polo MK1.
It has 125.000km to it - which is nothing for a 34 year old car. It has the 0.9 litre engine so it runs slower then a human. But it runs very well and theres not much problems with it.

The interior is perfect. No tears or anything. All that has to be done for it to be road legal is change the springs and brakelines.

This will be a stance project. It will be repainted, and restored. Low, with some really rare Reliant Schimitar 14" wheels with a lot of stretch. Coilover kit is the goal, and very low is the second goal.

    Hope you like it
