Well This is what has been keeping me from driving the last few weeks (note the hole in the oil pan):

JB Weld to the rescue!!! haha. Well at least knowing my ghetto self I had some laying around when it popped the hole so I could limp it home with out the need of a tow

Then I got this baby at the junkyard!

BALLIN!!! Its about time I got it. The only downside with this pan is that its the early gen 2.3 pan so the design is slightly different and there is no Low oil level sensor. But, it still bolted up!! Sucked though. I had to change it out in the pouring rain. I soaked through 7 layers of shirts

Now that she was driving again though I had to take some precautions to it being so low. SKID PAN TIME So I went to the local steel yard down in portland and picked up a 3x3 1/8" thick metal base plate.

    Rubber ducky FTW!!:

Story short The skidpan made my car a:

I NEED MOAR LOWZZZZZ!!!! And yes. Static.

This. DR steelies just don't seem right for this. Merc OEM+ screams class.

you dont have long til your shocks blow out, being stock and that low. invest in some billi sports, i got em on both my 190's. and i was soo supportive of your car until i saw you wanna go with steelies? who in their right mind could think that would look good on a 190e...
anyways, do some more research on OEM mercedes wheels. you'll find a set, and they'll look a hell of a lot better than steelies.
but +1 to the CLK lightweight and euro headlights.

It looks so nerdy, but that makes it look even better than Euro spec and great stance.

I've driven on stock cut springs before, I know how bad the ride must be... props. Try to get some R129 springs and cut those, much stiffer than any other aftermarket springs if you're looking to get low.

Here's some crappy pics of mine on 16x9 ET20 with 205/40/16 falkens.

I already have 15mm spacers for the rears but not installed yet.

I've done 15's before and in my opinion, looks awkward.

Try to stick with 16's if you can but either way this is going to turn out sick!

    ^ this

it is your ride and your decision but my $.02 is that these fine gentlemen are giving you great advise, those opera's would be the tits as well

I could even see rolling on the stocks with a tire change and a serious change
