Also removed the front arch liners and moved the screenwash bottle up and PAS resevoir forward to make some more room.

I've always liked the look of these cars. Dial in that fitment, stay away from black finishes on the wheels and it will look great. Good luck man.

I remember when i was younger someone in our street had one, a yellow one, and when it was new I thought it was an amazing car. they made a statement and alfa had a great reputation in aus so it hit the sweet spot for most people

Wheel fitment is getting there just needs some refining. Arches are still stock at the moment so a bit of fettling there and some swapping around of spacers should have it sitting pretty.

Ideally need to jump to 18's ( Merc Alphards would be sweet)

I agree with avoiding the black finishes I can't stand them. OEM silver is always a winner in my book possibly with a polished lip for some class.

Thank you for the positive words. Got to love all the 'ugly' wheels

The 'zoe' yellow ones look so italian the 24v is a real poor mans ferrari.

I used to always see a Red GTV spider on my way to school in the late 90's.

I remember researching the average age of cheap cars at that time and calculated that by the time I was 19 I'd be able to buy a 1995-97car..

It took me until I was 22 to actually realise I could afford it but I got there.

Alfa's do seem to have a good following in Aus with owners prepared to pay crazy shipping on parts because they can no longer get them in Australia.

Maybe I should sign up to ausalfa too.

                cheers all!
