  • My 528i called Greene

So, here is a building diary for my fünfer.

She was born in 1981, as a 520i. I am the third owner of the car, the previous brought it to Hungary in 1993. I bought it in the summer of 2009.

    She looked like this:

The factory wheels were boring, i always loved the basketweaved wheels, and a friend of mine came up with these, it wasn't a question that i had to buy them.

The specification was 16x7,5, ET13 BBS RZ.

After half year of using the problems were started to come up, and the rust too. I had to replace the doors, and the rear fenders. Those days i had no money for a good paintwork, so i used the car in that shape:

In the spring of 2010 the m20b20 was replaced with a m30b28 too.

In the end of the summer, i mounted an alpina front spoiler:

The year 2011 started with a new paintjob. The color is a rare one factory BMW, it was used on E12s.

New springs were installed too, made the car 40mm lower at the front, and 35 at the rear. And i shadowlined the car too.

After those, a great business came up, i bought a set of M-system wheels, with a set of throwing stars, and a set of turbines.

In the last two weeks the car changed again, the alpina spoiler was changed to an m5 one, and a coilover set was installed too.

And my future plans: Change the front tires to 215/45(now they are 225/45), spacers, camber plates, and i want to change the rear rims from 8" wide to 9" ones with the tyres matched to the front ones(maybe 235/40 ?) The m-systems will be painted to dark bronze, i really like the tone of the Desmond Regamasters matte bronze. And some more low at the front.

Please excuse my bad english, and all comments and suggestions are welcomed!

i can't put them back, i sold them. They were great, but little bit small for my taste, and dunno, i was used to them, and wanted some new. The turbines were my dream rims, and i'm satisfied with them.

I forgot to mention that i had styling 19s too:
