this is one hell of an interesting thread! I know a few focus owners that would love a set of those wheels, seeing it's a 4x108 pattern. how much did you get them for?

Nah, the RS reps are crap but I had a set just lime those that had the same markings on the back as the primes. Could just be the same place made them all; that would not be surprising.

Love the squareness of these wagons!

Finished the wheels, crappy shot in bad lighting.

Thanks, I have had prime wheels before as well, but these are true three piece (assuming that you are talking about the RS reps).

Thank you sir, yah I am debating going bigger on the wheels, problem is sizing everything up. I don't want stretched tires on my wagon, and the wheels are 16x7 (1" lip) 16x8 (1.5" lip) et18 all around. Since they are 4x108 I will need adapters since I don't want to redrill, this will make them et -10 all around which will look nice.

Can anyone ID these, they have no embossing/engravings. Measurements are 16x7/8 et18 approximately; PCD appears to be 4x108.

    Cleaning them up:

Yay for reverse-mount I didn't have to break the seal:

Picked these up on my lunch break, not much to get specifics, but I will have more updates later. Appear to be 4x110 16x7/8 et20, planning to run 30mm adpater making them et-10.

Thank you, it is quite easy and fulfilling to build it yourself. If you have any questions lmk, but my design is pretty striaght forward. Just FYI I used joist hangers and on the middle two shevles I didn't screw them in (just resting on the hangers, but very sturdy). It allows for easy removal on larger wheel/tire set ups.

BTW here is how I did it for others:

In total for wood I got 6 2x4x 8' and 2 2x3x8. Two of the 2x4 and both 2x3 were cut in half to make the rows (4'). The other four 2x4x8 got cut into 2x4x6 leaving four 2x4x2' (two left as is and two cut into the four needed 2x4x1').

It is not to hard, side frames are just 2"x4" x 6' with 2"x4" x 1' centers. Build these two and put a 2"x4" x 2' on the bottom to keep it up in the air. On the ends facing inward add joist hangers every 24" apart starting with the first as low as possible (top is only 20 IIRC). I used 2x4" x 4' on the top/bottom connecting the sides and 2x3" x 4' for the middle two shelves. The 2x3" are removable and just sit in the hangers, while the top/bottom 2x4" are permanent and screwed in. The top row the joist hangers are not 12" apart, but 10" to help with balance.

These measurements make each storage are 2' / 4' wide / 12" deep. Since the of the sides has 2x4" x2' it adds 2" lip on the bottom and keeps the wheels from touching the wall out back. Overall dimensions are 6'2" tall, 4'2" wide, 2" deep.

Helicoiled some of the studs yesterday...one doesn't hold, looks like they tried it before. I threw some jb weld in with the helicoil and left it overnight. Here is to wishful thinking...

Was going to install the digital dash today, but I am going to check out some wheels on my lunch, don't think I will get much done in the dark, but we will see tonight.
