  • anto's '92 vento on e30

well i've been following this forum for a long time and I thought i could post my car now

it's a 1992 vw vento gl with actually 230k km on it (150k when i bought it)
never been interested in performance, at least with this car, so i pushed only on the look of it, and i really like it

The body is really good, and engine rolls perfectly even with al the road that he covered eheehhere when i bought it in may 2009

then i found (grat ass) a set of very rare bbs e30 in disastrous conditions that i refurbished, and decided to fit with 195/45, specs are 7.75x15 in the front and 8.25 in the rear, unknown offset

within that i paited the steelies and got the right tyres (steels are 8x15 +20)

now i do really feel it, just this morning then i changed braking disks and pads with brembo components, and also got a 1.8 8v pb engine from a mk2 gti but still got no electronics of it..in a few weeks i'm going to swap the tires (one of which i destroyed duran an extreme scrapin' on higway) on the steelies

keep on tellin' me what you think!

    p.s.sorry for my english guys

I like that! BBS E30 are awesome. Would love it if the wheels were a bit wider... way too skinny for my tastes. 9J in the rear would be awesome.

feelin' whut you say dr.ak... the advantage is that i've got a LOT of space in the inside..
in fact i've got 5j inner barrels all around..could run 6j with no problems, for the life of these tyres i'll mantain these specs, after i could run 9j all around with 195/45

        p.s.thanks

                            yes perfectly plug&play

the only thing is that these rear seats are in one piece and mine were in two pieces, so if you put'em down they all come down, and they don't have the armrest in the middle that i really liked

but in every case there is no comparison

i have the same interior lying round tho with head rests

                              also have a spare recaro

and no golf to fit it in lol

blue openair u used as example seems very familiar
