Here's my little beast that I've been building up for about 5 years now, Aus delivered as a 'Holden Gemini' - but let's not use the H word. I bought it fairly stock with the usual mods; bigger carby, exhaust, some lame single piece ROH rims and that's about the lot.

The Plan was to keep it fairly starndard, change to a slightly larger motor (2.0 from 1.6L), change the exterior around abit and get it on the road... All these things happened and i was happy with her, until i started picking with a tiny bit of rust in the roof, resulting in a full respray.

Then late one night on the side of the highway the car developed a big miss under load... this was to be the start of my life of poverty. I was unaware at the time it was something as simple as a cooked battery (the result of an overcharging alternator) and automatically assumed worse senarios. At 2am in the morning (after towing the car home with another green PF50 - would have been a funny sight!) i set about removing the part i though resposible for my headache; the carby.
I had an Isuzu Rodeo EFI setup i had purchased a while back, coupled with an Isuzu Piazza Turbo and manifold these were to be the Gem's new lungs and kidneys.
Yes..note the horrible orange engine bay...

And after spending money at nearly every automotive shop in Australia and replacing every part in the above picture anyway, this is current set up
G200Z Fully balanced bottom end
-Shot peened and linishd connecting rods
-King bearings and Total seal moly rings
-Full floating rods
-Ross forged pistons (8.5:1 comp)
-O-ringed block, Ridge crest eng copper gasket
-Double Row timing chain
-Crower 40/80 cam with adjustable cam
-match ported to manifolds
- GT3071R
- 550CC RX7 injectors
- Individual coils + X3 Igntition + mircotech ECU
313 HP

How she sits:

In this photo my rear spacers are on the front, i found out an hour before this car show that my rims didn't clear my front brake upgrade!
So ignore the horrible track difference!

I'm planing on dropping the the front by 1.5" and spacing the rears out about 10-15 mm, i've got some old school racks to go on the roof aswell.
There's still alot to do, alot of parts still need fitting and purchasing, i endevour to keep you all posted! I broke my water pump on the way home from a car show last month so it's out of action at the moment
Cheers guys, i hope you like it!
