Well I figured I would put my plans for the car and pictures here.

Picked up hinrich's m3

Alpine white on Cinnamon interior
6-speed

Supersprint stepped headers v2
Custom Performance section 1 with 400cell magnaflow cats
Supersprint unresonated section 2
Rogue Engineering El diablo muffler
Afe Intake
Angel eyes (I think umnitza)
CDV delete
ZHP shift knob
CSL rear diffuser


Plans are simple:

Get coilovers. Thinking about getting BC racing coilovers, been talking to a handful of people who have them and have not heard anything bad at all.

Do some extensive trimming of the fenders before wheels are even thought about.

Wheel setup. It can go one of two ways, a radical setup thats never been done (or even thought about) or a classic setup with perfected fitment. (lm's, meisters, ccw's)

Some subtle things here and there, maybe a full carbon diffuser, some interior stuff, nothing major.

BCs for sure, had them on my E46, absolutely loved them, get the extreme low kit, and upgraded rates (both of which are free), and you're on the track to awesome. Can't wait to see what you do with this dude.

BCs are great. Installed them on my e36 about 6 weeks ago and couldn't be happier! Parts seem like solid quality and, on softer settings, ride is near stock. Wife and I drove about 7 hours on them this weekend and were really impressed with how they did.

Why would you do "extensive trimming of wheel fenders/wells" before you buy wheels. Buy wheels then make them fit. You might end up doing more work then neccasary.

because I bet my oem 18's are gonna rub quite a bit when I lower it and add spacers.

Borrowed some spacers for the winter setup 15mm rear 20mm front. Gotta love how the fenders just eat these wheels up.

UPDATE:

Did my plugs, oil change and inspected my vanos/ cam gear bolts. Everything checked out fine.

Now that I'm all up to date on maintenance for now, Ive made my choice on suspension.

Going to contact BC racing for some coilovers, going BR series with 10kg front 12kg rear.

Also, trying to trade my oem 18's with blizzaks for oem 19's to hold me over until I get real wheels.

id keep the winters incase you do drive it in the snow...its a tank

the stock 18s look way better once your lowered as well, a lot of guys run a square setup for the track with the oems

if you can get some oem 19s tho try and run a square rear setup...
