volvo 945 Turbodiesel

hello...
name's stephen, been lurking stanceworks for a while, thought id throw out a little thread of the project/daily (btw, from norway so dont expect any good english)

the car is a 1995 945, equipped with a straight six vw diesel.

ill start with a teaser of my old 945




so here it goes, it looked like this



then it started


got some rondell 58's 17x8,5 thrown on, lowered it with a set of springs and mounted some new lamps, the car ware still pretty much on stock hight.



threw away the bump stops and mounted these

thats the result of that, still needs more low, but i only got 4-5 cm travel from the crossmember, roads here a pretty shitty to, so there not much left of the oilpan

got some ideas and took a phonecall to a friend, baught a complete front, rear bumper, mouldings and all that stuff from a 98 modell v90, then the fun began !









then i got another idea, add some wood skies, some rust just to see how it looks


fabricated a front lip of a ford mondeo rear bumper

drove around like this for a while got tired of it and rebuilt it to a non ratty look again

the winter is about to arive here in norway now, so lately ive changed from the 18" jp lookalikes, to the dull 15" and mounted some extra lights, winter here is cold and dark you see....



since its a diesel, this is a must!

ive always wanted to see someone do one of these, i like the super square look of the volvos for some reason, and the diesel is different too so props for that man the only thing im not really digging is the rusty hood but to each their own!

not much mods.. open airfilter, straight pipe from the turbo all the way back, 2,5" from turbo, 3" from rearaxel, turned up the pump a bit, and a bigger alu IC.

btw, measured my car's hight, its 12cm lower then an original 940!
