i forgot to mention.... kinda traded them, i have a wheel problem like a lot of people on here and tend to run through them. some never make it onto the car.Originally posted by Unit01 View PostWe ever going to see those Revolutions on this?
But here is an update.
heavy duty water pumps set up, low temp thermo stat, metal gasket, metal impeller.

Cleaned off my head and found cracks

so i sourced a 1.5 head and decided to rebuild it, new lifters, port and polish, fresh cam, lapped valves, valve stem seals,

Adaptor to run the 1.5 head on a 1.6 block

and then my block heater and brake booster delete out of a 74 rabbit.

guess its not much progress but little here little there. need to get my hustle on for SOWOdoing it for the internet and the scene kids.

thanks man. plus with that stretch its sketchy to drive. I do like the steelies. i feel like i can beat around on them no worries and they are tailored fit to the car. actually think i can get away with wider rears.Originally posted by scweet14 View Postdamn dude those RF's so sick on the car, but those steelies suit the kinda edgy rust look it has

along with almost ripping off my control arm mounts, i drug most of the way through my oil pan and smashed my lower tie bar into the trans. so my winter project will be to raise the mounts and shorten the oil pan. along with a few other things.

pic of my engine bay cause i like how it came out.Last edited by Minty_Fresh; 11-06-2013, 03:59 PM.doing it for the internet and the scene kids.
