i'm sad that this build thread is not very full with responses...my opinion is that the pictures for this car just doesn't do justice...

anyway...i don't like the stickers/sticker bombing too, but hey, it's better than before

i like where this is going with cleaned bumpers (not a fan, but it looks good in the picture), but i hope that you will stay with the polished wheels and not paint it

seems that many people are here I wouldn't think of

to be honest, the pics are ok, the car needs more work, it's still in the beginning state..

as for the stickers, there may be less in the future, but I think the few will always be there.. and as for the colored wheels (not orange), the black & white car has to stand out by something, doesn't it? i think it would be too cold with just polished wheels..

tnx to everyone, i'm not afraid of comments, good or bad, so feel free to express yourselves

Like it. Not the stickers. But the rest of it.

Keep it up, read a book.

about the stickers...keep it, but put it on the rear window like you already did

for the wheels...i don't know, now in person, it looks just too damn good...polished wheels, white car combo...i wouldn't paint them, i would try with coloured bolts...

              New photos here

Some from 401 streetrace 2012 Žminj

Then came our event, 7th International Fiat meeting by Fiatisti, in Rijeka, it was the first time we had an SPL/Style/SQ competition in our event. These are the pics from the competition and from the rest of the program

And this saturday I had probably last photoshoot on alloys this year, the winter setup steelies are coming on soon, and Zenders are going to sleep for the winter, until i get some time to refresh them.

                new set of wheels

yes, fake splits once again.. that's unfortunately the best I can afford atm

Zender Stars, 7x15 et25 (atleast the former owner said so, i think it's around et20), with same nankangs as before..

caps are incomplete, missing the decorative nuts, so they remain off.. wheels need a bit of refurb, at least repainting the centre is necesarry, and they'll probably end up with white centres and polished dish..

the sparco sticker is just to cover the paint cracking and falling off, thank you mister painter man

Too much dust here, time to wipe some off after more than a year

2013 was not too good for my car. First, the decision to remove strips from bumpers was a good one, but the execution by the guy that was supposed to do it wasn't, he just welded them, badly. Then I spent some money to change my seats, as they were broken, so got myself a bit better second hand set (or atleast I thought so). Also, sold the Zenders, got a set of BBS RW, wasn't satisfied.. Sold those, got a set of some Fondmetals which looked a bit better, but were thrown between three guys for two months, just for a simple sandblasting, so in one pissed-off moment I picked them up and sprayed them red (I really don't know why, probably because it was the first spray can that was on the shelf), just so i could drive on summer tyres (it was already june, and I was still on winter tyres).

So I was now with no cash to go into the car... and the wheels were ugly as hell... and the bumpers were ugly as hell... and the seats started to collapse...

One day in september I decided I'm not keeping these wheels, but I still wanted to normalize them a bit, so I sprayed them over in white.. Looked a bit more decent, not so off... Also, the rear was bothering both my friend and me, as it couldn't be lowered anymore , so we decided to cut rear springs one and a half ring at the top. The operation was quite succesful

And then, at the end of the year, I got something that will be the base for making this car look better than ever before, a pretty rare set of BBS Pininfarinas in 7,5x16 et15 .

It seems they have been blasted (not sandblasted) quite badly, and also attempted to be straightened up with a hammer by some lunatic. Luckilly they have all the nuts and bolts, because they're very hard to find. They're currenty getting straightened up and balanced, and if all goes well the lips will be polished. Still have to try to polish the bolts myself, I'd get them chromed but noone near enough does that anymore. Still unsure about the centres, they're definitely getting colored, I'm currently somewhere between anthracite and mint as the possible solutions, any ideas are welcome. Adaptors are alredy here, 13mm thick, and the rubber waiting to be put on is 165/45 .

I have straightened the bumpers myself some time ago, they just need to be painted now. All the stickers are gone, maybe a few make it back, maybe. The matte black roof vinyl is also going off. And I've heard the second hand Alfa 147 seats have arrived home today

If all goes well all this will be on the car before June. Wish me luck
