I just chopped the springs for now, but looking to get something more serious soon. i hope you dont mind me posting a picture of mine. it might get confusing with it being the same color and all.Last edited by NegativeCamber; 08-29-2012, 03:45 PM.Originally posted by KielanI've had a lot more fun in my Dad's Prius than I care to admit.

the dash is coming together. i still need to remove the heater core back there as well as add a better temp gauge and oil pressure gauge.
just continuing with the maintenace portion, i bought two brand new reference sensors. the old ones being from '82, i figured they should be replaced.
new external and internal fuel pumps, new sender as well as the fuel filter. i debated on doing the single pump install, but the car has no issues with the dual system and will be reliable for a long time with the current setup.
i had to take apart the cluster because the damn fuel and temp needles wouldn't stay steady. this usually is the case when the SI board batteries are toast. it was.
i still will be circulating air, even if its not heated. like every e23, the damn microswitch is busted on the temp panel. i had to solder on a new one so i could turn on the air.
i decided i needed to get started on cleaning up under the hood for the wiretuck. first step was to relocate the battery to the trunk. just needed to rearrange the setup back there....
mounted a cutoff switch on the box
new rubber floor mat
pulled the rear seat to run the cables and found......
a firely unicorn. its all down hill from here.....
e36 junction box up front will be hidden behind the cowl, but i think i will use one off an e39....anyone parting an e39 that could sell me one?
euro headlamps and grills were installed.
but were removed because the AC system is being tossed back there as well.
removing things and not having to re-install them feels so much better. lol
i leave this thread with a pic of the engine wiring harness...because that is where i left off. i really would like to get started on the fenders and prep for paint but again, whenever i get the call that my parts are ready from memoryfab, thats when it will start.

I owned two of these boats, both were manuals, one a 735 that was a factory 4 speed and a 745 that i converted to a 265 5 speed. and they definitely are a ton of fun with em.
Sweet build dood, the grey market e23 always has a place in my heart.Beware before i triple dare you like the last kid.

im currently finishing up the wire tuck for the e23 at the moment. i still need to wire up the electric fan and extend some misc sensor wires. its been a long slow boring process but its almost there. the engine bay is almost now nice and bare.
the cool part about the fuse box is that you can take it apart and de-pin all the connectors at the rear....so at least i didnt have to cut the wiring on that side of the harness. its still a pain in the ass though.
i need to polish or paint the valve cover and intake manifold next, as well as shave the bay from all the old brackets that are left over.
i finally got a call from MemoryFab that my lips and barrels were ready, so I took a trip over to the east bay to pick up my parts..

the thing that sucks for me is that i have hydroboost, so i really dont have many options to get the brake bomb off the bay for a 100% item-less look. still brainstorming though....Originally posted by KielanI've had a lot more fun in my Dad's Prius than I care to admit.
