That's good..fenderwork on a freshly painted car is always a pain in the ass. I wish i rolled my fenders all flat before the respray

So what are your plans for the car? New wheels maybe ?

    UPDATE....

    Today.... fitted the rear lights....

gives me a rough idea of what it will look like....

The doors were white primed and guide coated...

and then the door handles were painted waterbased black and lacquer...

then the doors were painted inside and out and fitted back up...

    check the shuts

    and my new mod.....

    Take 1 vw flip key....

    see here....

then purchase a few items from hongkong ebay....

go to your local locksmith.... and make yourself look like a complete wierdo by expaining you want to turn a bmw key into a flip key.....

    so what began with this....

    is now THIS....

    whatcha reckon??

as always... opinions and comments welcome

I love it when I hear people (still) love E36's so much. Specially after selling, as only then you realize what you are missing.

    E36's are really great cars.

    right.....

quick progress pic... plugging up the holes on the door step....

    so...... its in the booth....

    PAINTED!!!!!

in the end, i chose white..... and because i work in a paintshop... i have done it "off the shelf" white....

much brighter than ford frozen white.... no blue, no magenta, no oxide yellow... nothing...

and here is a photo through the booth door 8)

    and the rest.........

    yayyyyyyyyyy!! 8)

so.... basically... i went for white in the end.... because i thought any colour scheme i use will go with it.... so possibly coloured wheels? im undecided....

all i know is, the shell is painted... now on to the doors, bumpers, mouldings, etc etc

    whatcha all reckon?
