thanks! that means a lot coming from a beamer guy lol.

so a little update. this is taking longer than expected. probably won't be done til friday.
tucked some wires away today and painted my coil packs lol. havent spliced anything just yet, i'll get to that when the motor's in the car and i get a visual on what needs to be hidden. also i just sent out my flywheel and ordered a 6 puck unsprung clutch. since i intend to go for mid to high hp this summer i figured why not start now. supercharger is getting polished tomorrow to add to the old school flavor.

                        • I just picked up some 1985 Corvette staggered wheels for wait 4 it $43 dollars. Needs the rears to be blasted and painted. Just wanted to know what size addapters and spacers you used to get the the wheels to work on the cobalt. I have a 2007 Cobalt coupe like yours but it's orange. already did the headlights, side markers, and a couple other things. what size tires did you use on your vett wheels

                          • I run some on my Ion Redline...same exact drivetrain as the Cobalt SS.

I believe the adapter sizes were like 20mm and like 30mm because of the different widths in the wheels.

8.5's up front for the 30mm ish

9.5's out back take the 20mm(smallest they can make and you will need to shave a hair off of your wheel studs so the adapters will sit flat.

It gives you a total offset ranging from 25-35, I can't remember exact figures, your going to have to plug some numbers into the offset calculators.

Biggest thing to do w/the adapter set-up is make sure the adapters are hub centric to the cars hub and the adapters are made so that they are hub centric to the rims. It'll ride like stock if not better.

                            StanceWorks....for supercars as well.
