  • The Douche-Themed Snowmobile

    Alright, against my better judgment given the parts I have, I have decided to start a build thread. A couple weeks ago, I traded my 2010 BMW 135i on a 2011 Satin White Pearl Impreza WRX STi sedan. My reasoning was I love Subarus, I wanted a sedan, and the trade would be pretty even.

    Couple of days after I got it:

    in my dad's garage back home; that is my dad sitting in the chair haha:

    So anyway I've always loved how boxer engines sound, and that gay ass stock dual exhaust was just not cutting it. It was way too quiet, so to fix that I ordered an Invidia N1 Race exhaust, single exit. Yeah, probably the biggest ricer exhaust you can buy for the car. but I don't care lol

    At the same time that I ordered the exhaust, I also ordered BC Racing Extreme Drop coils, 10k front 12k rear rates. Too bad the exhaust came first, so I was riding around stock everything except a loud ass exhaust for about a week.

    in the box:

    Starting the install:

    ....and then I forgot to keep taking pictures and finished the install without picking up the camera again. So here are the comparison pictures for the first drop.

    Obviously, I will be going lower. I guess I want to leave myself excuses to put my car up on the lift and mess with it later on this winter when I'm back home on break from school

    More pictures of current ride height (not low yet, sorry guys)

    I can go about another inch lower in the rear, maybe a little more, and in the front I can probably go another 1.5in lower. I'll do that eventually lol

    Other things I've done so far are a custom wc lathe werks shift knob and wink mirror because that is required for any hella jdm car build.

    Lastly, I'll be rolling my fenders and getting wheels hopefully around January/February, I'm currently looking for a job at school so I can start affording parts again. I also plan on that OEM Subaru front lip, going wingless after wheels and possibly doing a short ram intake just because.

    For those of you who don't like to read here is a list:

    Orange = on the car
    Blue = planning on it

    BC Extreme Drop Coilovers

                  hahahaha those are just wheels I'm thinking about buying, none from pops. He bought the car, aftermarket parts are my responsibility lol

                  I won't be buying all five but those are my current thoughts lol

                      I agree with that. I know that bagged black STI is on 18x10 +18 xd9's but I'm kinda skeptical on how that would fit. Probably fine, but it sounds almost too aggressive (stock size is 18x8.5 +55)

                              Because TE37s would look like dick on a car that curvy.

                              Kevin, you're making me eat my words here. I legitimately thought I would **** this. I normally cannot stand the new sedan STi, but I really do think with some more low (and wheels obviously) it has the potential to look great. Keep it up.
