So it's on the road..









I can't go lower because of the wheel and tyre specs, but I'm happy as it doesn't scrub much at all, I even managed to go out at the weekend with three other people in it with hardly any scrubbing. I'm happy with how it looks, but I might be switching it up soon.

Finished swapping hubs and bleeding brakes. I would be able to drive it around if the exhaust wasn't hanging off! Going to put the rice cannon back on for the time being then get the N1 properly clamped.

Photoshoot on Sunday with some other local guys, so expect pics soon!

Swapped my 165/40s for 195/45s. Wheels need reconditioning, it's on my To Do list. Not that these will fit my car... yet!

I had quite a bit of interest, but I have decided against selling them now.

Hopefully I'll have it done for Sunday. My new plan is to get this done, drive it like it is and save up for a year then buy a PS13. I know exactly what I want too, so all I have to do is get this rolling!


Hopefully I'll be getting the wheels aligned on Saturday now, so when they are doing that I'll adjust the camber too so they match. I can go a little less camber with these tyres, but I might even them out and go lower at the back, it needs it!

Colour wise, I really want to just rattle it teal! So badly! Either that or professionally Milano Red.

This weekend we might be painting my friend Will's Mk2 Golf, so we will see how hard it is. If we can do it in a weekend I might be tempted to do mine! There are pictures of it on page 2. I'm just trying to convince him to get Rota Grid Vs for it!

I've put a sale thread on Driftworks for them. But I don't want to do it. I want to make them fit, as an achievement. It's going to take a lot of work though if I do it.

i am really fussy with hatches but im really feeling your civic man, im considering getting one myself now haha. i wasnt sure if i liked the massive camber angle though..... but the last few pics are bangin.
you mentioned you might repaint? you got any ideas?

Thanks. I need alignment once it's all together, the toe on the back is really bad and will kill tyres unless I do something about it. The front isn't too bad though, standard camber arms are doing just fine!

Replica harnesses?

Unfortunately so. I can't afford the real deal at the moment and other reasons etc. but I am going back to a standard seatbelt as I can't have people sitting behind me with the harnesses.

I'm just waiting on a new passenger side hub to arrive, as the one I bought with the whole set is damaged and unusable. Once it arrives, I just have to swap the calliper over on to the new hub and put the old exhaust on while I measure up a clamp for the new one. Hopefully I'll have it done by my birthday, which is the first week of February
