  • 1996 Honda Civic

Hey everyone. Thought I would sign up to show off my little project!

It's a Thunder Grey 1996 Honda EJ Civic, standard D14 engine (at the moment)

    Spec list:

Nardi Deep corn steering wheel, 350mm deep corn perforated leather
    60mm HKB snap-off boss
    HKB steering wheel hub adapter
1x Bride GIAS II reclining seat (passenger side) on two seat rails
1x Bride Low max fixed back seat (replica, drivers side) on standard seat rails
Home made Rogue Status gear gaitor / boot shifter
    Shotgun shell gearstick
10" mutant sub located behind the driver's seat with mutant amp
    Takata (replica) harnesses, drivers side
    Unknown backbox with desilenced pipe
    HSD TT Coilovers
MB6 Honda Civic hubs (4x114.3) although not fitted yet.
Front: 16x8 ET20 Work Meister wheels on 195/40/R16 Falken ZIEX
Rear: 16x9 ET20 Work Meister wheels (soon to be on 215/35/R16 Falkens)
Rogue Status wrapped plate surround and petrol cap (Mishka sticker also!)
    Bride trimmed doorcards
    S2000 cluster install

I bought the car just before the start of the summer, I have been spending most of my spare time on it, just doing bits and pieces. Originally I was going to completely strip the interior and K20 it, but it didn't seem reasonable for a daily driver, so I put the interior back in. I am currently in the process of buying a B18C however, which should be plenty of power for me.

How it started life. My friend Nathan sold it to me as he was at University and had no plans of keeping it:

Parts (excuse some image quality, phone camera and Canon 7D have big differences!)

That's pretty much all the bits. I rolled the rear arches and made about 10mm. Now, the car as a whole! In these pictures it's on 20mm hub adapters. Once the hubs are swapped it should sit pretty nice! 8s front and back, that's why they are mexi on the front.

So that's my car! Still a work in progress of course, it will be for some time.

Current plans are to lower it even more, get the centres of the works painted white, paint the bay white when I swap the engines, including a smooth and wire tuck.

I'm also looking at getting some other wheels too.

Hope you like! I have tried to condense 12 pages of Civiclife into one, so I hope it's all understandable and that you like it! Cheers!

Thanks for the positive feedback guys!

Some pictures of the interior in various stages. I'm considering putting the roof lining back in..

Also, the day when I picked the wheels up. Civiclife as a whole thought I was going to run with this much negative camber, I will not though! It was because of the different hubs.

          Also my Rogue Status eagle!

                            Thanks for the replies!

I'm going to take a look at dialing in some more negative camber tonight, mainly for the backs. I can't afford camber adjusters at the moment, so I'll be doing it the ghetto way!

I'm also hoping to purchase some extremely sexy new wheels too, watch this space!
