I've been lurking on this thread for some time and decided to post based on the dumper box tease. I thought you were going "pimp my ride" with it. Kind of disappointed.
That said, the fact that you're doing this work to a Cav is pure insanity but I like it.

The craftsmanship is UNREAL!
You have done an amazing job, you're like a magician.
This car is not a cavalier anymore, it's a HooWybrow ride.
I probably saw this thing when it was on the black wheels a couple of years ago in Stratford.
I need to see this in person, hope you get it done for the Fitted event next month so I can tell you how unreal this transformation is in person.
Don't tell me life is so short, what have you done that's longer?

Thanks, man!
The car will be there, but I fear it will be on a trailer. I've just simply run out of adequate time to make it as good as I want to drive it. However, it will still look like a car.
Heading out shortly to cut a massive hole in the trunk and hopefully (fingers crossed) get a fuel cell in today.
Pick this bad boy and the rest of the dash up next weekend. The air bag cover was missing when I bought all this shit, so Wayde just went ahead and made one.
Made some major headway on the fuel cell install today. Started, obviously, by cutting out the spare tub.
I apparently forgot to take a picture of the trunk without said spare tub from the inside.
I was super worried that this fuel cell setup wasn't going to clear my IRS, as the previous car is still a beam car. However once everything was fitted, there was ample room. The fuel line/pump setup is going to be SO pretty. I really can't wait to spend a bajillion dollars on it, honestly, that's not sarcasm.
Anyways, got it all mocked up:
I need to make a few minor adjustments to the framework as it was in a car before I owned it. I was expecting it and it really isn't a big deal. I could probably make it work the way it is but it would bug me.
It came with an aluminum floor piece, which I swore I had a picture of, but apparently not. Anyways, once all is installed I will be installing most of the factory carpet. Should look pretty nice once all finished up.
A comparison of the factory tank/sender and the 10 gal fuel cell. I think the factory tank is equal to 15 gallons. Could be wrong, though.
