Thanks a lot dude! I honestly didnt see this turning out as awesome either, I've surprised myself.

Ordered my rear spacers/adapters last night as well as some coppery-amberish wheel nuts. I'm not sure how theyll flow with the rest of it, but they weren't too badly priced, if they dont work, I'll just buy other ones.

Also shortened the trailing arms in the back, and now the wheels sit perfectly centered. Again, really happy.

      Pics to come!

      • Pictures of the rear with the vette wheels on, current tires are leaving Im pretty sure. I have the front adapters on, the new rear ones are 3/4 of an inch thicker. Life will be good. I'll need to roll the rear quarter more near the bumper side though. Which is not a huge deal, will just take some time and fiddling.

        Right side

Camber anyone? Currently set to be 0* where an alero would be at stock ride height.

I dont think I'm the first one, by any means, but thanks nonetheless!

And thanks everyone else, I can actually see the end now. I'm really excited.

                          • i meant, swap the wheels from one side to the other. so the cut outs in the wheels spin the other way.

I don't think it would look right that way...

Hope to have the car sitting on all 4 wheels, with the proper coilover setup finished front and rear by the weekend, may even have my skirts back?

                              Who knows.

                              • So, within the span of 15 minutes my hoist fucked off on me as well as my car.

Hoist needs a pair of new cylinders, and the slave shit the bed on my car, so it may as well be karma for not putting a clutch/slave in when I had the engine/trans out. I ordered a Stage 4 clutch net clutch. They have a 20% off "winter" deal going on right now, which saved me nearly 100 dollars. The clutch may be a little aggressive now, but with where I want the car to be as a decent daily driver, it should be about perfect.

I managed to finish the rear end of my suspension set up last night, I used two new neon strut inserts from koni, which are essentially the same as j car ones. Had them machined to properly seat in the N car rear mount. It has all worked out exceptionally well. The pictures of the rear of the car are with the GC adjusters spun all the way UP.

I also got to finish my catch can modifications today. I added a 3rd tapped hole and a seperator plate. Hard to explain the general function now, but you will all see once the lines and things show up.

                                Before:

                                After:

Left axle showed up, and the R&D portion of the right side axle is almost done.

Um, what else. Picked up 4 J-bends and 50' of exhaust wrap. Will be wrapping the downpipe and making an intake off the turbo this year.

I think we're all up to date now...
