Got the car away finally, and major progress occured this evening.
Pulled out the stock rear solid axle/drums, etc. And mounted up the Independant rear suspension/rear disc setup. Keep in mind this will all be cleaned up, and for the most part be replaced, re-invented. But it was a hell of a night for progress.
I'm extremely excited.
How we started:
Where we ended up:
More to come

Anyways, Camaro calipers showed up, and I had my first hand at fender rolling/pulling. To be quite honest I think it looks like total ass, but whatever. It's a cavalier.
Ended up only getting one side "done" and half started the other side, then the bolt stripped out on the worn-the-fuck-out fender roller we borrowed.
Like i said, I dont really care for it, but whatever.

Been hauling ass the last two days.
Pulled the engine and started tubbing the wheel wells.
How I left the car Monday night:
And this is what I got done tonight:
Started with this:
Trimmed a piece off to rough size:
removed the battery tray, and original fuse block mount:
Took a big breath, and started cutting:
Wound up at the end of the day with this:
Stock fuse block will even still fit:
Will be grabbing some steel to finish the siding tomorrow, will hopefully have it all welded in, smoothed and seam sealed by tomorrow night.
Only thing is a may have to move the battery to the trunk, which really isn't a big deal.
