And it's only going to get better. Lower with a small bit of camber and it should be good.

                • F*uck the last owner of my car for drilling a hole in the firewall at the lowest possible point, water leak again. I think I'm just going to re-route the wires and weld up this hole.

                  • Alright, so the past two days have been pretty productive for me. I ended up re-routing some wires under the hood (one of which ran thru the hole in my firewall where water was coming in at) and a couple others just to tidy things up.

Had it in the garage on Monday, drilling a new hole for one of the wires I was moving and then sealing it up extra good.

After everything was sealed off I let it sit for about 5hrs so the sealant would harden. I then proceeded to run water down the windshield while keeping an eye on the inside for any signs of a leak.
Good news is the leak is finally gone, but the last test was taking it thru a car wash and letting the high pressure water really test things, still no leaking water. I was very happy at this point. This meant I could finally install the carpet back into the car.

                    Intermission:
Dinner was on the grill, so I called it quits for Mondays work.

Tuesday morning, this morning. The car sat overnight (obviously) but I ran it thru the carwash again just to double check everything and make sure that absolutely NO water got in. We were good, so it was time to remove everything inside the car and install the new carpet.

                    Done!

All in all, it was a very good two days for me. It feels great to finally have carpet again after 6months w/o it

As it sits now: no spacers and a little lower.

As soon as my tax return get here I will be rolling the fenders. God I can't wait to mount up the new wheels. Enjoy the rest of your day/night.
