  • n00b with a VW T4 - picture heavy

    Right guys and girls,
I'm Jay, and I've been a regular browser of this forum for aaaaaaages but only just signed on. So what a drive. Oh I'm from the Isle of Man. Points to anyone not from the UK that knows where that is...

    I drove this

which is going to get slated, but I was 18 and loved it.
Then I bought a van as its for my band.

which then went like this - ****** will ****

and as soon as I can afford it getting lowered & banded steelies it will look something like this

I know its not the high end things you boys do, but you've inspired me to try and get stance using what I've got, so will keep you updated.

Once its fixed, head gasket went last week

    Rate or slate people.

Love it mate, absolutly love it

Defo slamm it with the banded steelies.

I think you need to smoke your front indicators for it to blend in with the black lower bit

          scene kid points

          done the front and rear!
So far other than that nothing has happened, just using it as a band van! Plans will go ahead as I've got clear indicator lenses to go on and no money!

Welcome to the T4 club and stanceworks. My wife won't let me lower hers more than a couple of inches, but here is our turd:

My first JDM project after decades of European cars!

I know it's not stanced yet, but I'm getting it dropped next week! only 60mm but it is still a van!

It now looks like this, camo-esque

So since my first post, it's got a badgeless grill, smoothed plate recess, rolling on steelies, getting lowered ASAP.

                    Freaking slow progress...

make sure you can scratch up some coin for shorter shocks, otherwise the thing will be bouncing along like a mofo.

this thing is cool, and I also love the support of this forum, its fun to see all the similar projects come out of hiding when something similar pops up! Keep it up man, love the "camo-esque" paint job, looks better than the solid 2-tone.
