got more done today.

wanted to run a traditional style a-pillar bar, but said to hell with it and added the FIA style bar behind it too, sitting in the seat from my point of view it lines up perfect with the a-pillar bar so no additional obstruction of view which was rad. looks pretty cool too from inside.




also ponied up and bought myself a set of dimple dies. and of course used them on my pillars.




not much left cage wise. do the passenger side dimples, door bars and figure a way to tie in my shock towers in such a way to have it still be removable and maybe a new support for the steering column.

some updates since I've been absent for a while.

changed out my 3.73 gears for some 4.10's so it should be pretty rowdy now

made a new switch panel since i couldn't reach the one in the dash while i was strapped in




remade my rear brake circuit with -3AN steel braided line


test fit an e30 dash to see how i liked it


didn't really like it so i started to build my own (more updates on this as it goes)





found some weird british catch can that I'm gonna make work for this

Made an intake




Welded the catch can to the driver side of the radiator








And added more cage gussets and shit


That's probably all for this weekend. Maybe make some taco gussets for the door bars but we will see.

alright so more stuff, if it seems slow, its because it is.

modified my front subframe and moved the steering rack forward so i can ditch the offset tie rod spacers


made my new gauge cluster


and a new steering column


the girlfriend bought me a steering wheel


and sort of what the interior looks like now


got some of my new zestino tires mounted on the front whit my new rims. got a set of door from the junk yard because i wanted windows again and some more front fenders. (trying to street this truck again someday)


trying to be at an event the 17th of march still need to do my front brake lines and fuel lines, battery box and harness anchors. fingers crossed ill have the time to make it happen.

also ordered some more wheels for spares on the rear and a new set of coil overs. so pumped this thing is still moving forward
