        • The welds are exceptional, and the car is even better.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

          Your blast pipes look stupid.

                    • cobrawannabe and Dangerwillrbnsn a sincere thank you to you both, and thank you as well to every one else for the kind words of encouragement. I'll hit the shop hard tomorrow night and knock some sh*t out.

                            • Alright Update time. Its official I worked all weekend and got the rears done. yipiy. So here it goes.

So I started by making up all of the pieces to make the upper bag mounts.

Then I welded them up and gathered up the uppers and lowers.

I put my fittings in the bag.

Then test fit the new top.

Then I added the mounting ear and painted it.

                              Then installed it.

And vwala, 4 inches of drop.

It is a lot lower than it was but its not low enough. The sway bar is hanging me up as are the factory shock as are a few other things. However this is where it will sit until I handle the management. Once I have that handled I build shorter sway bar links, and modify a new set of lower control arms with 3 or four inch pockets in them to get is as low as I want it. Any other recommendations are welcome.

                              • Good to see more progress.

Looks like a fender roll is needed with your other modifications. Have you thought of deleting the sway bar? That's if money was an issue, but doing it right with shorter links is always the latter.
