this might seem weird but go on to your local home depot or lowes and check out the the chain link or metal fence caps they have, i know of a lot of people who have gotten those end caps to work as centers before

So now for some hand's on creativity!
When i bought the "APR Universal GT3" Mirror i knew that i was going to have to make a custom face plate for the mirrors to actually bolt up to.
Since i dont feel like taking off the ones i have on for measurements i just used my stock mirrors for measuring out a template.

After measuring up the mirrors and where i am going to have to mach up bolt holes for i ended up with this clean template.

Once all said and done after being cut out of cardboard to save on materials this is what it will look like for the most part.

And to think ahead of time towards the aftermath of installing them, to reduce the chance of getting any kind of moisture, water in the door panels or scratches on the door itself i created a piece of waterproof foam that will be sealed and held down by the bolts where the holes are.

Hopefully this week i get a chance to pick up a bit of 12 gauge sheet metal to make this work.
