Obviously they don't make coilovers for this car and cutting the springs wouldn't get me as low as this. I'll be sticking with the 15's and have a decent sized side wall so that'll be my "suspension".

Call up a reputable suspension company. "Hey guys, need a suspension for a '79 Jaugar." "Okay, bring it over, we'll fab something up." - Problem solved. Applies for coils and bags both.

What you are doing... well, that's doing it wrong. Although I'd love to see a Jag like this done right.
