  • New to Stance. G35 Sedan

    Hello everyone,

My name is Marty and i purchased a G35 sedan in Feb of this year. I live in Chandler AZ. I joined G35driver to get some idea's on mods and was quickly introduced to the world of stance and flush rides. I am 33 years old (today is my b day) I have been into tuning since high school when i started wrenching on my second gen eclipse. This was long before the days of car forums and I had to do shit the hard way and just dive in hoping i didn't break anything (which I did of course, but it taught me even more).

I have been in the SR20 world for the past 8 or 9 years having owned two P10's and one P11 (infiniti G20), so the G35 was a natural progression for me. I spent about a year looking for the G35 i wanted. I have kids, so it has been all four door cars since my Eclipse. I wanted an 05 or 06 sedan with the 6MT transmission. I found a good deal, finally, on a black one with the sport and premium package (rear reclining seats) and bought it that same day.

Here she is the day i bought it

Since then I have done a few things to it. Dropped it on some springs for now until i can get the proper coilover setup. I picked up some Professor SP1's locally as well. I have debadged the trunk and added a Tanabe Medalion single tip exhaust system. Love the car so far, but def need to go lower and work on the stance.

Next up will be painted headlight housings and emblemless grill. once i get the coilovers i will have a bunch of work to get the stance right

          Sup Yall,

It's been a minute since i posted on here. Thought i would give an update. Funny looking at where i was though.

Today I am slammed on Tein coilovers and have some new wheels. Work VS-XX in burning black. Exhaust, rear SPL titanium camber arms, spc toe bolts, poly front bushings. Emblem shaved on my grill and trunk emblems shaved. I still have a ton to do, but the stance is def better

          Specs
          19x9.5+13 w/ 225/35 tires in the front
          19x10.5 +26 w/245/25 tires in the rear
