hi ,most of you might have seen the car at shows or the pbmw mag a few months ago .
should have start a tread a while a go but just plain forgot :blush:


so here it is from the start


went with a mate to look at a e38 740i and ended up buying it ,very good spec and history ...so car number 19

right had a bit of time to start playing with the car ,i couldn't have picked the worst car to mod for the fact that there's not much out there for it :lol:



so the first mods

modified the keys


buttons changed




silver plated custom 7



got the engine cleaned and put a air filter on just got get round to making a heat shield

had a nasty brown dash and top of the door cards which was changed and dyed for a leather dash

also steering wheel changed from the bus one to a sports item

done a nice LED upgrade on the number plate and interior lights

interior needed big time cleaning lol

the car came with tints but looked purple/blue which bugged the hell out of me so were removed ,was going to leave them off but think the car needed them as its gangster lol

had normal lights with clear indicators which didnt work with the look of the car so ended up fitting HID ,angels and smoked indicators

the lights were got from phil and indicators were from germany

also de chromed the bumper trims

front fogs were had for so brought new lenses and "tinted"








next was the suspension as 1 of the springs had snapped and i wanted coilovers but could not find a cheap set at all and had to get spax to make a set height and shock adjustable as all the rest were from £1200 to £1900

all round coilovers were fitted with brand new top mounts as well

right next was the body side of it ,its a bit Marmite for some but i like

full de chrome on windows/side mouldings and front grill and bumper chrome was colour coded

front spoiler added and side skirts

e46 folding style mirrors

de badged and de locked boot

de badged bonnet

rear bumper was cut for quad square slash cut exhaust (big thanks to Styledynamics )
