  • BMW E32 back to life

I've been following you guys on the blog and forum. just decided to register myself here to share my work on my car. It might not be S/W worthy, but i'll do my best.

Im gonna be updating as I have time to upload pics (which theres tons). You need to forgive my english too

so to the point. There was it when I got her. sat for several months, didnt turn on, had lots of missing parts, electricity was messy, suspension worn, paint dead and so on. pics can talk by themselves

that was a year ago. car looks way different now, but i will share the bulid with calm.

hope you guys have any interest

so. i guess this wont get any comments until is lowered to the floor and some bigger wheels..

anyway i will keep posting in order.

i had to take the car to a shop towed by a truck

a/c leaks, and some heating problems

some new fuses, relays and the car turned on, so i took it back home

headlights, corner, fogs and tails were all broken when i got it. so I replace them with some "gift" some a supplier here in China. I didnt like them but they were for the shipping price only.

went to get these ACs but the 4th one never showed up.

so I went for some beyerns 18x8.5 and 18x9.5

so my dad helped me to work on the paint, trying to save the old one

    kidneys blacked out

    we rebuilt the ZF 5HP30

couple of shots at the time

    the the dinan chip

    some suspension parts

    and miscellanious

new front bumper, with the brake duct "lip" and OEM fogs. also the HongKong license plate was back to the car

    here with its garage mate

couple of vids against the mk4 1.8T

then this after a drift fail

    looking for new wheels.

and i wanted some LM reps in 19" but I wanted a more "elegant" look so i went with M6 styles

one day the car decided not to turn on so I left it there for a week till we had time to work on the starter engine

    the thing rolling

    then new brakes

new rear axle carrier. as the old one suffered a bit from the accident

rear hydraulic suspension was deleted as it was leaking, changed all fluids, rebulit the steering, new starter engine, again all bushings and control arms, sway links, tie rods, some interior bulbs, cluster chrome rings, straight pipes, CAI, re-paint some engine parts... and a lot more work i dont remember

drive shaft bearing and support was broken after hard run

    pipes

    all this went off

new tires as the old ones was killed by the camber and some burn outs

couple of vids of the new sound and after all the work

new engine bay look, before the central cover

    before

    now

then i finally went back to OEM look with the rest of the lights.

and the result.. here pics with the baby who knows wsup

i need to post pics of the engine bay and interior as it is now.

    plans for the car:
-more drop but coilovers for E32 are rare and E34's must be modded but i dont know how yet.
    -paint job
    -spacers
-wheels but this one maybe not so soon.

    thanks for watching

                  thanks again for comments..

unfortunately, i had to cut springs and work on them.. coilovers for E32 dont exist or must be very rare. E34's could work but must be modded. Thats my next stop together with some spacers .. u know.. stance stuff

I can't chop the springs on mine, the ride isn't all that good now, i'm thinkin my shocks are EOL. So if i chop them they will be dead in a few miles.
