  • Time for suggestions (BMW E46)

Well, this just dropped in... coils in it are broken so it's probably time for a drop...

you can see how it's "butt" is sagging on the passenger side (drivers side in UK )

how low can these go without issues and what offset wheels have ppl been using on them ?

I'm really leaning towards 18" M-Parallel set of wheels, but they're 8", 9,5" wide in the rear..

    ET20 offset in the front
    ET25 offset in the rear

BC racing coil overs. Hands down they go low, they ride incredibly well, and they're cheap.

This is how my car looked before I really got to dial it in.

^Get a chub everytime I see it man.

Sounds like you've got your mind in the right spot man. M parallels work perfectly on the e46.

The ones i've got were 20 in front and 25 in rear

and these pictures are taken from when the seller was presenting the car to me, it has since been polished... will take pictures sooner than later...

I did a litte investigation, seems like the front wheels came off a E39 and the rear ones came off a E38...

Front ones have the bigger center bore and the rear ones have had it machined to the bigger one...

Currently working on the polishing issue..

I'm thinking Raceland Coilovers for something cheap to start with ?

Don't do that, save your money and do it right the first time, get BCs.
