  • MKIII jetta ...... Any Ideas?????

Guys, I'm new to the vw game and am looking for ideas for my mkIII jetta...... suspension, rims, tires, anything you could get to me.....

You should look and only look* for ideas on vwvortex. But do not ask the same question on there, because they will rip you to pieces. Search function is your friend

Hold on, do you currently not have any wheels, suspension or tires? How do you drive?

Remember cheap coilovers will get you low but ride like ass (from what most posts say). Cheap wheels are basically the same. They won't ride like ass but they can bend easier and just plain not look as nice.

As with most things you get what you pay for.

That being said, I'm probably going to buy JOM coilovers for my mk3 gti, fab a skid plate, and find a nice set of wheels

I have Racelands on mine. they are cheap and get the job done. trim the bumpstops and they run just fine.

Also, in my opinion, don't go too big on the wheels with a mk3. A lot of guys try to fit the biggest wheels possible but I think 16's are good and 17's are pushing it on a mk3. 16's with some stretch and poke are money.
