Latest addition are these XXR 527's ...

    18x9.75 +20 all round, 225/40 (F) & 245/40 (R)

I have only seen 1 or 2 owners in Oz w/ these (feel free to correct me, they definitely are not common here yet) I came across them being sold at a tuner shop on the other side of town yesterday, had very limited sets & sizes, Gold was not my original choice as there was Matt Black in 18x8.75, which however looked piss weak compared to the 9's & minimal concave.
    So the choice was clear.

Have yet to fit them, hopefully tomorrow

Fairly average update until I can get the car running again ..

Checked fuel delivery, all good. So while I was at it replaced the fuel filter & fuel pump anyway. Then checked for spark & got nothing, so today I picked up a new S2 PTU (power transistor unit) for a killer price & just for the sake of having new replaced my other used S2 unit.
Also replaced the CAS (crank angle sensor) w/ a known working one as I was receiving error code 11 (CAS) but still no luck. Checked out the connectors / loom also & all was good.

I know the CTS (coolant temp sensor) can cause similar problems as it did for the last owner, but that has also been replaced new.

So tomorrow I'm going to pick up a cheap untouched ECU & swap that in, in place of my current socketed ECU & hope for the best.

I still haven't even test fitted the wheels .. if I can get up early enough I'll throw 2 on & snap a photo.

Thanks mate, there is a lot of poor examples getting around in Oz & I think they outweigh the few good that rarely are seen.
And I'm glad I didn't pay for all that list, it's a good mixture of my money & the previous owner, haha.

XXR's have been collecting dust since the car temporarily died.

Did however fit one today despite the jacked-up current ride height so it's tow truck friendly ..
                    Please note that, haha.
