im back to the jap side once again

i was after a mk1 but seen a mk2 up for sale and went out to have a look and fell in love.

its a black 1.8 sport, so "140bhp" and an lsd i think.
from what i seen for looking at it, its absolutely mint, a Y reg with 45,000 ish miles and been garaged and done 6000 miles in the last 3 years.

    Nardi

i owned the car for a week before a got to drive it due to being offshore, and the first weekend i got home i was out at the alford track at a capri owners day, the cars unbelievable fun but requires a few upgrades to get it even better.

its got an exhaust rattle, possible just a broken hanger or something..... sounds like an excuse to get a new one to me. but there doesnt seem to be an awful lot out there but got myself a wee cat-back, just a mongoose, nothing fancy

But had a small problem of the centre section being a bit short :/
Hopefully Everythings sorted and the replacement is on it's way

and especially after the track time i new it needed these so my biggest boner, my HSD coilovers from driftworks!!

Note the small extras, penetrating fluid and a maoam bar

And then just going to give my old wheels a re-furb and stick them on for a while
    they are ronal Ls's 15 x 7.5 et 20 if i remember correct
i have had the wheels on and they look like they will fit perfectly after rolling and hopefully minimal if no flaring at all.

After my mate got finnished up dropping his mini clubman I got my car into the garage and got started on my car

Before fitting the coilovers I gave them a good looking over....... To find this inside the bottom mounts of the front units :/

Basically below the threads hasn't been coated and this it had surface rust. No impressed at all but had to get them fitted so rubbed them back, protected them an layered in copper grease so they're all good.

After some swearing we got them fitted and roughly set up for a local meet.
Whoever invented anti roll bar links deserves to be shot!!!

After fitting the exhaust I wasn't to impressed with how it sits, so thats going to need some work

And of coarse, the very first addition to the car :P

the cars not set up properly but iwill just wait till i get the wheels refurbed and see what work is required first, It's as low as it can go for now on the front, and I have about a centimetre of clearance getting in my drive :/

I absolutely love driving this car right now, handles amazingly and is pretty comfy for the longer drives. I just does not loose and grip what so ever, might be the fact it has winter Tyres on just now :/

I need to get hold of a hard top, think it looks brilliant with one

this is a couple of the most recent pictures, the back could come down a bit more but as said im waiting for the other wheels to go on first.
