Do you happen to have the length of the trans from the bellhousing to the shifter assembly? My diesel has a knock, and a 302 + T5 sounds appetizing.

I also like the one guy who said the front dress weighs as much as an LSx, 5.0 is actually lighter than even an aluminum LS with dress; however LS is a better motor.
showed this to a buddy looking at an E36 shell, he's stoked on a 5.0 swap now lol
Yeah, I actually enjoyed the negative comments. The build makes me super happy, so no worries what others think. Seems like most people love the build and I've also been getting a lot of positive reactions. The LS is definitely a better motor, but this swap was immensely cheaper and still has some legit power potential.

Congrats on getting this project done with so much attention to detail, mad props!
Yeah, now that I'm done building it, I'm just trying to get out there to drive and show it off. I bet you'll see me out and about soon.

Here's the pics from Mayday Garage:

I might. I'd have to get my wife to drive it, as I was planning on taking my school's 550hp Mustang. If my car is there, it'll be parked with Hennessey, so you shouldn't miss it.

Thanks! I'm all about giving rides, so we'll make it happen. The wife loves it. She just wants to learn how to drive it better, so she can get in on burnout action.

Thanks, dude! I was really critical of it as I was building it, but happy with how it came together. There's lots of things people will never see that make it a pretty solid car. It really helped to finish it at our shop, so I had no excuses not to do things right. I want to clean up the wiring harness (which I bought from someone else), but otherwise everything is as clean as I can do it, which feels good.
