I didn't know you were gonna show it off at Wekfest, now I REALLY can't wait to see it in person! It's been a long time since I've seen you man!

Fingers crossed I'll have something to show at Wekfest. I still have hope! Either way I'll be there, as I got a booth for my school. Look for the 650hp yellpw Camaro...it should stand out a bit among the imports.

Lot of little things to hook up in the next 36 hours, but it's getting closer for sure. Last night was finishing oil setup, wiring everything up, reworking harness to look a little better, and fabbing up radiator brackets/cutting support. A common theme in my build threads are "thank yous" to Clay and he did it again with some perfect radiator brackets!

        • So how low does the oil pan sit? I remember hearing somewhere that the pans on the 302 are quite deep and can cause some issues in low cars. Obviously the information is far and few between because it isn't your common SR swap lol. I'd just be curious to know what the oil pan depth is comparatively, to an m50/52.

It looks like it sits pretty close to the M52 pan. Maybe even a bit more clearance. But remember, the 302 has a steel pan not aluminum. So if I ever do hit it, it will dent rather than crack.

            • It's all in there, now just have to figure out what in the hell is preventing it from starting...

              • I was stalking your flickr the other day and saw this. Looks fantastic, I really need to come by & see it in person. Same non-starting symptoms?

Yeah, it hasn't started once since installed in the BMW. Hopefully bringing it up to work tomorrow and let the experts look it over.

                  • It's alive! Just had to take it to work to have some of the best car builders anywhere tell me I had the cam timing wrong haha.

Will start putting everything together and finishing everything up tomorrow. Luckily, I have a dyno and track to break it in proper on.

                              • This is all I have for videos so far. It runs and drives great! I've put 150 miles on it with no issues. Pulls nice and sounds amazing!

Huge thanks to my friends at 025garage and Hennessey Performance. There's no way I would have been able to do this without them!
