    making a start after 2 years now in a good position to do so mods, the cars stock apart from the wheels.
    so parts are ordered mucked around on photoshop basic idea of the look im going for minus M3 bumper

      Parts are starting to arrive so wasting no time getting the ball rolling.
      No Coilovers yet but control arms, bushesand tie rods arrived and M3 bumper arived today which i will get painted this week.

      Happy days!

      Ball joints very badly worn

      Sway bar bushes rooted!!

      went back together very simple
      New bumper took ages to arrive

      Roll on the coil overs

        New bumper painted and fitted, still needs some adjustment not quite fitting well, also new blacked out grilles its all coming along nicely.
        Still no coilovers getting very frustrated but trying to be paitent been over a month since i ordered them
        hope its worth the wait.

              Coilovers finally arrived, they are JOM's (yes i hear the groans) quite supprised on how low they are before they are wound down so i set them high till they settle, still very happy with the result so far.
              Need to change the tyres for a bit of stretch and space out the rears, thinking i might go for some new wheels maybe some style 5's or maybe something differeent alltogether.
              Any ideas everyone?

                nice work on the body, but IMO that wheels..just doesn't look good in that bimmer...

                if you want stance, 17" is the best choice (IMO again lol)...here is one portuguese exemple...8.5 / 10 j 17...



                and if you register yourself, you can see more pics here (in "Projectos Nacionais" section)

                  the beamer looks sick man! i agree with a3 german about the wheel selection but i do love it man. very clean. hard to find in such great condition in my area good luck with it. its a great platform

                    I agree the wheels dont work, there 18's and 1 piece so cant change the lips out
                    what are those wheels in the pic i cant quite make them out, look awesome tho

                          The coilovers are at near max height so have plenty to go sthey will give me much more low o with a set of 17's , thanks for the link very helpful
