Mercedes Inspired Clio project (UK)

this should be good, saw another thread you started and it made me very curious what a mercedes clio would look like. i was expecting mercedes badges all over the car and what not. good to see it's just half a fake )

haha well the thought of putting a mercedes badge on the boot were i smoothed it did cross my mind! but then i thought NO haha, but lets be honest, im soo keeping the mercedes centre caps in cos thats just cool

When iv got the money il be getting C-class, but thats a long way away lol

how did you paint it? where?

Im a crash repairer and painter, so did it myself at work, in a booth iv got pics of it in the booth but there low quality, il put them on anyway as its more pics :p

I gave it a outside respray in its original colour last year

then painted the roof black, but then realised everyone has blacks roofs so iv got a brown one now...

I painted it in stages as its my daily so couldnt get away with doing it all in one go

well, iv had the car for about 3 years now, it started of life as a boggo silver clio, il post pics up as thats what people really want!

Before

Front plate recess and washer jets!!















Thats the respray almost finished(All done by myself!), few things to do still, Btw its in mercedes white, and the roof and mirror bits are mercedes brown::


Next thing to do it to fit these to my 4 stud :

Currently hand polishing the lips up, this only on grit 400 soo far, working upto 3000 then Autosol, the main centre part will be brown then inside of the rim white and white on the part near the lip that has a spoke gap, if ya'll get me lol, want them strecthed and poked, then itl be air suspension next on the list
